i decided to take a facebook vacation after realizing that i spent the past two hours caught in a technology loop, toggling between gmail, facebook, and snood, with the daily show playing in the background.* when going to deactivate my account, this is what i saw:
DON’T LEAVE! MARY WILL MISS YOU! JUSTIN WILL MISS YOU! RACHEL WILL MISS YOU! KAT WILL MISS YOU! ERIC WILL MISS YOU!
Jeezus. Stop playing with my emotions, Facebook. We’ll see how long I can hold out against the sweet pull of internet friends.
*And yes, I realize that posting on this blog still means I’m caught in the loop. Turning off my computer now.
